Life After Death chapter 2
I woke up the next morning, somewhere around 6:00 am. I was sitting on the floor in my workout room leaning up against the wall next to my treadmill. I was still in my clothes from last night, but they were totally soaked with perspiration. My brain was still numb from yesterday?s drama, but my hands were not. Red, cut, and swollen like ten little sausages they cried out for attention. I don?t remember much from last six hours only that my nightmares were back and with a vengeance. The painful sting from the ice water brought my body back to life and shocked my brain back to reality. For the next couple of hours I rotated from heat to cold and back again every twenty minutes to reduce the swelling and to get the blood flowing through my hands again. As I opened and closed my hands a couple of times, I was especially thankful nothing was broken and all the damage done was just superficial.
